Grades in Tech Lab are Standards based. Students may not move on to the next unit until the the activites in the previous sections are done to a specific standard. Once they are completed they may move on at their own pace. Activites for each unit are divided into 4 "Tasks". The first two tasks involve researching and answering questions and learning new vocabulary on a particular topic. Once those are completed to an adequate degree, they may move into Task 3, in which they are assessed on what they have learned. Each completion of a task increases their grade 25%. Task four is the last level, where students do a project that combines everything they have learned into a Powerpoint, video, or web page.
