What is iWork?
iWork is Apple's application suite that rivals Mircrosoft Office. In this workshop learn how to build a Keynote presentation, which is very similar to Powerpoint. You'll also learn about Pages, which is like Word. Finally, we'll explore Numbers, which is similar to Excel. . This will all be done at an introductory level. BRING PHOTOS, MUSIC, AND/OR VIDEO and you'll create your own project to use in your classroom as an exemplar or to teach a concept.
Program Objectives:
- Learn basics of Pages and apply knowledge to create content for a teacher's classroom.
- Learn basics of Kenote and apply knowledge to create content for a teacher's classroom.
- Learn basics of Numbers and apply knowledge to create content for a teacher's classroom.
8:00- 8:15 Overview and logging on to computers
- Log-in by Clicking on GUIDED STUDY in the user field and GS in the password field.
- If you have a laptop, that is best to work on, so find a plug in and a place to sit (extra chairs are at the south end of room).
- After you sign in, CHECK IN WITH BROCK TO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A CONTRIBUTE KEY FOR YOU COMPUTER (Turn on your computer, click on Contribute, and have him take a look if you're not sure).
