The technique that the students use is called stop-frame-animation, similar to the kind used in making the movie "The Nightmare Before Christmas," or "Gumby and Pokey." The students take a picture of a creature, person, action figure, or whatever and then they move the figure slightly, and take another picture. They repeat this process until they can animate the stack of images to create the illusion of movement. It is very cool!

The viewing of these movies requires a pretty speedy network (Unless you crave the boredom of waiting for things to download) and the quicktime plug-in for your internet browser. Once you have the plug-in and you want to view the movie just go to the movie pages and let it rip! They are all student created and they are cool!
