Virtual Reality


Students in the Technology Lab can build virtual worlds on the computer. Students can then tour through the worlds that they build on the computer screen. We have several programs that enable students to create these worlds; Virtus VR, Virtus Walk Through, and Bridge Builder (VRML).

The pictures on this page are from a virtual house that 8th grade students created with Virtus VR. The pictures that you see are only in two dimensions, but on the computers in the class you can virtually walk through the scenes that you see below. Below them is a quicktime movie of a house walkthrough.

When we learn a little more about VRML we will post some of the sites that we build on this page.
