Using a greyscale QuickCam and NIH Image, some students put together this race of Lego Hydroplanes. Since it is smaller in size and in grayscale, it is much smaller in physical size (about 587k compressed).

I used the program Movie Cleaner Lite™ to compress the movie and then used Movie Player 2.5™ to save it as a self contained movie. Then just to make sure I used the freeware Internet Movie Tool on a batch of movies to get them ready to post on the web. These grayscale stop frame animation movies are much more managable.
