Students use this windtunnel to experiment with different principles of flight and aerodynamics. We test basic shapes, propellors, wings, model cars, model trucks, rockets, and whatever else has different characteristics of aerodynamics. We also create our own models with a Vacu-Form machine. A baseball is spun inside the tunnel to show why they curve! |

Students experiment with various pieces of equipment to learn Bernouli's Principle, as shown with the wing cross section (lower left) and the ping pong balls (lower right). |

Students also use Microsoft's Flight Simulator, Flight Unlimited, The Greatest Paper Airplanes, and GlidePath software to learn about flight and simulate it on the computer.
White Wings, and normal paper are used to make thier own card stock planes so they can test their theories on flight and aerodynamics.
